Edge die Zuhörer der Little Noise Session in der Londoner Union Chapel noch selbst mit einem Auftritt überrascht (siehe unsere News vom 24.11.2007 ). In diesem Jahr nun war nur The Edge vor Ort und trat dieses Mal als Präsentator auf. Vor rund 600 gespannten Fans leitete er die Auftritte der Band Kasabian und The Hours ein. Bono hielt für seine Freundin Seymour, die sich bereits mit Bonos Frau Ali für die Anti-Sellafield-Kampagne engagierte, eine Rede. LHMC: Ha, ha! Well there was a lot of noise in the building! Paul McGuinness really wondered whether I knew what I was letting myself in for. But it was a lovely period. It was also a lovely period of my life. I split up with my first wife in 1982 and I didn’t meet Iona until, gosh, it was October ‘84.
