If not hosting events, the stadium is open to the public daily from 9am to 7pm.

Saturdays and attracted more people every time, particularly under-18s. For the first time U2 successfully played in front of larger audiences. Dandelion Car Park no longer exists, though – today it is the site of St. Stephen's Green Shopping Centre, and only a plaque of the Dublin Rock'N'Stroll informs visitors about its history. The plaque can be found on the side of the shopping centre, just next to the entrance to TGI Friday.

For many years this part of town was a problem area with a high rate of crime and drug abuse. In the meantime, however, the area is under major reconstruction. Some of the mentioned towers are leveld to ground already: Pearse Tower was demolished in the year 2004, Ceannt Tower in 2005. MacDermott Tower was blasted on the 13th March 2005, MacDonagh Tower on June the 5th 2005.
