# U2 für Golden Globe Award nominiert

Heute wurden die Nominierungen für die **[Golden Globe Awards](http://www.thegoldenglobes.com/)** bekanntgegeben. U2 sind in der Kategorie **"Best Original Song in a Motion Picture"** mit [**The Hands That Built America**](https://u2tour.de/discographie/lyrics/The_Hands_That_Built_America.html) nominiert worden. U2 steuern diesen Titel zu Martin Scorses Film **"Gangs of New York"** bei, der insgesamt fünfmal nominiert wurde. Die Konkurrenten von U2 in der Kategorie "Best Original Song" sind Madonna, Paul Simon, Bryan Adams / Hans Zimmer und Eminem. Die Golden Globe Awards werden am 19. Januar verliehen, sie gelten als einer der wichtigsten Filmpreise weltweit und als Indikator für den Oscar.
