Am 21. August wurden in Californien die 5th Annual DVD Awards verliehen. In der Kategorie Best DVD-Video Music ging der Award an Elevation 2001: U2 Live From Boston. Auswahlkriterien: "Commends the release that makes best use of DVD's technical capabilities in the confines of a music video production. The video and audio presentation will be evaluated, as will bonus materials and navigation." Neben U2 waren noch folgende DVDs in dieser Kategorie nominiert: Elton John: One Night Only, Fresh Aire 8, Queen: We Will Rock You Special Edition, The Who: Live at the Royal Albert Hall.
