IDYLL WORSHIP
KEVIN WESTENBERG
**AUCTION OF SIGNED PRINT FOR CHARITY**
U2’s Bono, Adam Clayton, The Edge and Larry Mullen, have signed one of Kevin Westenberg’s photographs to raise money for Concern Worldwide.
The print, featuring Bono lying on stage shaking hands with a fan during U2’s recent Vertigo Tour in Phoenix Arizona, will be auctioned for Concern Worldwide, an international charity dedicated to the elimination of suffering in the world’s poorest countries.
The band signed this print at Abbey Road Studio’s, in North London where they are currently recording.
From 22nd September – 28th October 2006, this signed image will take pride of place in the Idyll Worship exhibition - showing the most provocative and electrifying images of musical heroes from Kevin Westenberg’s illustrious career, on display to the public for the first time at Blink Gallery.
Auction bids will be taken on the one-off print throughout the exhibition, with the highest bidder at the close of the exhibition walking away with the framed print – surely a music fan’s dream and the best investment in rock’ n’ roll you would ever hope to make.
Every single penny of the proceeds will be donated by Kevin to Concern Worldwide, to go some way to alleviating the pain of the world’s poorest people.
