'Live 8' DVD Veröffentlichung am 7. November auf 4 DVDs
Das riesen Live-Spektakel zu Gunsten von 'Make Poverty History' Live 8 (Tourarchiv), welches am 2. Juli 2005 an 9 verschiedenen Orten auf der ganzen Welt stattgefunden hat, wird am 7.11.2005 auf 4 DVDs veröffentlicht. Dort wird es dann u.a. die Auftitte von U2, Muse, Scissor Sisters, Robbie Williams, Madonna, Elton John, Coldplay, REM, Pink Floyd, Dido, Paul McCartney und Keane zu sehen geben. Es werden alle Auftritte vom Londoner Hyde Park und in Philadelphias 'Museum Of Art' zu sehen sein plus weitere Highlights von den anderen Bühnen. Auf der vierten DVD gibt es Bonus-Material, das u.a. die wiedervereinten Pink Floyd bei den Proben zum Konzert zeigt. Desweiteren sollen Einzel-DVDs von den Konzerten in Paris, Berlin, Rom and Toronto veröffentlicht werden. Der größte Teil der Einnahmen gehen an den 'Band Aid Trust' für die Bekämpfung von Hunger und Armut in Afrika.
