Wie die offizielle U2-Webseite u2.com berichtet, stieg U2-Drummer Larry Mullen jr. vorgestern in Dublin auf seine Harley, um eine Broschüre mit dem Titel "This Is Your Bike" zu promoten (
Bild). Mit dieser Broschüre möchte man sich um mehr Sicherheit für Motorradfahrer in Irland bemühen. In Irland ist die Quote von Motorradunfällen im Strassenverkehr zur Anzahl der Motorradfahrer verhältnismässig hoch. Larry, der wohl berühmteste Motarradfahrer Irlands dazu: "I just hope that by doing this, someone will listen and decide to do training before getting on a bike. It's not a cool thing to get on a bike. It's not cool to take your life into your hands. It is a dangerous undertaking that can get you killed."
