Die zweite Best-Of-Compilation von U2 ist auf CD und Vinyl erschienen. Außerdem wurde eine "limitierte" Doppel-CD veröffentlicht, die zusätzlich eine zweite CD mit den besten B-Sides von 1990-2000 und die Bonus-DVD "History Mix" enthält. Diese DVD ist zur Aufbewahrung in der Best-Of-DVD-Hülle gedacht, weitere Infos gibt es in unserer Videographie. Des weiteren wurde The Best Of 1990-2000 auch auf DVD und VHS veröffentlicht (siehe unsere Videographie).

Mit 'The Best Of 1990-2000' veröffentlicht die Band den zweiten Teil ihrer Rückschau auf über 20 Jahre U2. Der Track 'Electrical Storm' wird als Single ausgekoppelt und mit 'The Hands that Built America' findet sich noch ein weiteres neues Werk auf der Compilation. In limitierter Form erhält der Käufer zusätzlich eine B-Side Compilation dieser Schaffensphase so wie eine Bonus DVD mit einem "History Mix" und zwei unveröffentlichten Videos.
