Am 9. Dezember 2000 traten U2 live in der legendären Comedy-Show Saturday Night Live (SNL) in New York auf. Sie spielten dort die Songs Beautiful Day und Elevation . Anfang 2004 präsentiert Michael Mittermeier bei RTL alle Höhepunkte der Show aus den letzten 25 Jahren.
